This blog is about the space we operate in — mobile venture capital and mobile & wireless innovation.

While we are not shy about blowing our own horn, it is not our intention to make the blog a direct plug for Nexit or any of our portfolio firms. The things we want to achieve with this blog include:

• Communicate our views, opinions, and way of thinking to people and firms we are interested in working with: entrepreneurs, limited partners, co-investors, media, and potential recruits. If you like what you read — or, at least, value our approach, we also might be someone you would like to work with.
• Organize and sharpen our own thinking and analysis. By setting our ideas and views out to the open, we force ourselves to articulate in as clear manner as possible how we see and feel about developments and phenomena in the mobile and wireless space.
• Start discussion and debate about issues that are important, interesting, or challenging to us. By laying out our own thinking and analysis to scrutiny of our peers, we hope to gain more insight, hear different points of view, and learn more. Ultimately, to become better at what we do.

We do not aim to be a news-intensive blog — for that purpose there are a number of outlets that do a fantastic job that we cannot (and do not want to) compete with. What we do hope to do is to add depth, analysis, and, hopefully, fresh insight, into those news.
